History
Manchester SEO was originally launched by Kay Dinsdale to publicly document a journey into the Google search engines index. See the posts in Manchester SEO Updates to read about actions taken and observations made including the ranks achieved (without any backlinks!). These posts are not intended to be a tutorial but it is possible they will help people who are new to SEO and business owners trying to understand what it’s all about to gain a better understanding of the activities that influence rankings and perhaps those which do not. Please note that Manchester SEO was not launched to compete for the ‘number one spot’ and that stands today. There will be no aggressive activity to target that position. Although if by chance it occurs naturally I don’t think any of the providers listed would complain 
Rather than let the domain sit neglected I decided to turn Manchester SEO into a resource listing SEO providers. Listing submissions are welcome from freelance seo consultants, seo companies/agencies large and small as well as SEO copywriters/content providers.
