Want to be a contributor?
Listed SEO providers are invited to register as a contributor of on topic content. There are a few guidelines of course:
- Posts must be unique, no copy and pasting or duplicating content from yours or any other website. This is also for your benefit, you know it doesn’t do to re-use the same content on different domains (tip: make use of your re-writing skills!)
- Posts must be on topic (SEO, Manchester, Industry news, opinions…you get it the idea)
- It’s ok to link out to your own site with anchor text within the body of the post but only do this once and only if it makes sense to include it.
- Linking out to other websites is ok as long as it’s relevant to the article.
- It’s ok to big yourself up. If you get an award, win a new client or introduce a new service and want to shout about it go right ahead (but do try to include posts that aren’t just about you
be diverse.) - Potentially slanderous posts about any business or individual will not be approved.
Do I get anything for being a contributor?
Apart from increased visibility with your posts, regular contributors can have an advert linking directly to their website that will be displayed randomly with others on the top right across the site.
Is it a lifetime advert?
There is no pressure to post content regularly but if you don’t the advert will be reduced or removed to make it fair on those who may be providing regular content.
What do I do?
Simply register, then log in, create your post then submit for approval. Once checked it will go live.
